The name “Moniker” is widely known across San Diego for their various venues and family of businesses that provide spaces and opportunities for people to connect and share memories with one another. Their aesthetic is known for being trendy yet functional, minimal yet purposeful so when James, the man behind Moniker Made, reached out to me I knew I would be onboard to check out what this furniture company is all about. Ryley, RVCA and I headed down to Point Loma where Moniker General is located. This space triples as a furniture showroom, coffeeshop, and storefront. We arrived early so we had the place to ourselves for about 30 minutes before the crowd started flowing in. The coffee was delicious and the furniture was everything I was expecting- beautifully made and so functional.
